Note on the NSW row. The $2m / $20m figures published for NSW are the eligibility criteria for the Specialist Allied Health and Behaviour Support Provider Scheme S13 — and that Scheme is optional. They are not established as NSW's requirement for a provider working outside it. NSW's consolidated external-providers hub sits behind a departmental staff login, so we could not read it.

Two jurisdictions we could not establish, and why

Northern Territory

Could not retrieve. An NT "NDIS Information Package for Service Providers" exists at a known education.nt.gov.au address, but the host returns HTTP 403 behind an anti-bot layer to every method we tried. The NT students-with-disabilities policy page carries no provider-access section.

We will not paraphrase a forum or a search summary to fill this in. Ask the department directly for that document by name: sesupport.det@nt.gov.au.

Australian Capital Territory

No published procedure located. The ACT Education Directorate's NDIS page addresses this in a single sentence — that if you want your child's therapy appointments to happen at school, talk to the school to arrange it. There is no request form, no documented decision process, no insurance figure and no agreement instrument.

Do not assume the ACT works like NSW or Victoria. Ask the Directorate's Disability Education team.

The blank insurance cells

South Australia requires both public liability and professional indemnity but states no dollar minimum on either page we read S11, S12. Western Australia states its public liability minimum but no professional indemnity figure S10. Those cells are blank because the number is not published — not because it is zero. WA links an insurance fact sheet we did not fetch; it may settle theirs.

Currency warning

These documents do not share a vintage. Queensland's procedure is Version 1.4, effective 3 June 2022, and its provider fact sheet still refers to the Commission commencing at full scheme in 2019 S7, S8. Tasmania's policy is Version 1.0 of 12 May 2023 S6. Victoria's step-2 guidance was updated 25 March 2026 S4. Four years separate the oldest from the newest. Check the date on the source before you rely on any row above.
